Prague Beer Museum. There are a few locations. While not totally dedicated to craft beers, they do have plenty along with a big selection of small Czech breweries that make for a cool experience.

Letná (gentrified but cool and close to the Old Town), Ĺ˝iĹľkov (shabby, good nightlife), Old Town (goes without saying), Malá Strana/SmĂchov (good connection to the center, cozy pubs) Letna is the place. Close to the center and a lot of restaurants and cafes.

It depends on area in city centre people usually speak english. My last 3 encounters with the police (Prague centre, D1 by Pruhonice and Benesov) they've all spoke English. So maybe you'll get lucky if you need them, casting my mind back they were all in their 30s or maybe even 20s.
